DJsNeverEndingStory on Algo-Rhythmz

So Lets start things off simple, If you had to describe your music in 3 words or 3 genres what would those be?
A : My music is atmospheric, soulful, and bassy. I’m mixing these elements into my hip-hop and electronica production.

I can see that! Good description Who is your favorite DJ/Producer All time or top 5
A: Even though you don’t hear his name much anymore, my favorite producer will always be Mannie Fresh because he’s the one that inspired me to start producing. When I heard his production on Juvenile’s “400 Degreez” album, and how it was so different from other hip-hop producers in the late 90’s, I knew there was a place for me to be original and melodic. Mannie, Timbaland, Missy Elliot, Pharrell, and Scott Storch were my favorite producers growing up. In my college years, Flying Lotus, Polow da Don, and 40. I’ll stop there ’cause I can name a bunch more, even in the electronic genres with producers like Illenium, Flume, and so on. I’m a fan of the producer before I am for the artist they produce for. Matter of fact, I don’t even hear lyrics until about the third listen of a song. I’m studying the beat.

I respect a lot of the names you just listed, I grew up on a lot of those cats, And Flume recently has caught , my ear! So When and why did you start getting into instrumentation ?
A: My parents buying me a Casio Ca-110 keyboard in 1992 sparked my interest in making music. After that I started asking for more instruments; a drum set, xylophone, guitar, soprano saxophone, and probably a few more that I’ve forgotten about. Out of all of the instruments, I ultimately mastered the tuba after being introduced to it in high school. I don’t consider myself a pianist or keyboardist even though I use a 61 key MIDI controller to compose my melodies. I use my music theory from the tuba

Supportive parents can go along way! You’re lucky my dude.. Now What motivates you the most??
